You recently attended a weekend course at a local training centre. The course was useful, but there were problems with the facilities.
Write a letter to the centre manager. In your letter:
- explain why you attended the course
- describe the problems you experienced
- suggest what the manager should do
Essay
Some people believe employers should allow staff to work from home whenever possible. Others think employees are more effective when they work in a shared workplace.
Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
Writing assessment rubric
Choose 0–9 for each criterion. Half bands are allowed. Task 1 uses Task Achievement; Task 2 uses Task Response. The final estimate is (Task 1 average + 2 × Task 2 average) ÷ 3, rounded to the nearest half band.
